Job summary
Vestas seeks a skilled SCADA & Cyber Security professional to join the APAC Power Plant Solutions team. Primary site listed as Kudligi, Karnataka, with responsibilities spanning scheduled and unscheduled SCADA maintenance, 1st line support, on-site and remote troubleshooting, and installation of SCADA systems.
Strong networking, PLC, and IT knowledge are essential. You will collaborate across the APAC SCADA team, review technical requirements, and contribute to technical documentation while
Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree - Electrical/ Electronics/ IT or similar.
- Experience in server operating systems, Windows, Linux and SQL database including admin functionalities.
- System user of C4C, TSL, MS Office, SAP and Salesforce.
- Willingness to travel regionally.
- Understanding of Industrial SCADA systems.
- Knowledge of networking and configurations.
- PLC programming and protocols (IEC-104, IEC-101, MODBUS, DNP, OPC) a plus.
- Good English and Korean language skills (spoken & written).
Responsibilities
- Scheduled SCADA maintenance per Maintenance Plan.
- Unscheduled SCADA maintenance via AFRM process in Salesforce.
- Level 1 support for SCADA and OT systems at Wind Power Parks.
- Onsite and remote troubleshooting on SCADA hardware/software including networks.
- Installation of SCADA systems.
- Action C4C/TSL tickets and Work Orders in Salesforce.
- Prepare technical documentation.
- Input into task lists, parts lists, and tools lists.
- Support SCADA engineers onsite.
- After hours support and standby.
- Be a SCADA ambassador onsite to customers and service teams.
