Job summary

AFRY, a global engineering and advisory company, seeks a Consultant, Wind Power for APAC. The role, based in Manila (Makati), involves designing wind and renewable projects, performing due diligence, and supporting EPC tenders across the region.

You will work within an international team, engage in business development, and contribute to energy yield analyses and project development efforts in APAC.

Qualifications

• Higher professional degree in engineering for wind power projects (M.Sc. or B.Sc.).
• Technical understanding of wind power technology basics.
• Self-driven and team-oriented; able to support business development and proposals part time.

Responsibilities

• Prepare conceptual design and feasibility studies for wind power and other renewables (solar PV, offshore wind, storage).
• Prepare technical due diligence for acquisition or financing of wind and other renewable projects.
• Prepare energy yield analysis for wind projects (onshore and offshore).
• Assist clients with wind EPC tendering, negotiations with EPC contractors, and general project development.
• Act as lenders' engineer, performing construction and operations monitoring.
• Contribute to business development activities in the Philippines.
