Overview

Project Manager – Renewable Energy Consulting role at AFRY. In line with our increasing business, we are looking for a Project Manager, Renewable Energy Consulting to project manage and work on various renewable energy projects in the Philippines and elsewhere in the APAC region.

Job Responsibilities

• Preparation and management of conceptual design studies, feasibility studies, lenders technical advisory projects, and technical due diligence for ground-mounted, rooftop and floating solar PV, battery storage, onshore and offshore wind power projects, and various hybrid renewable energy projects.
• Management of EPC tendering projects, negotiations with EPC contractors, IPP bidding projects, and renewable energy project development in general.
• Management of various other technical consulting assignments for renewable energy projects.
• Preparation of reports for clients and coordination of the internal report preparation process.
• For interested candidates, there is possibility to:
• participate in business development, proposal preparation and consulting contract negotiation
• expand the role for Owner’s engineer construction projects, to assist our clients in project management, design review and construction supervision of various renewable energy projects.

Qualifications

• Higher professional degree in engineering (B.Sc. or higher) relevant to the job.
• Industry background and more than 5 years’ work experience from power utilities, IPP developers, engineering companies, or power sector consulting companies.
• Good experience in renewable energy project development, especially for solar PV.
• Fluency in English.
• Excellent report writing, presentation and verbal communication skills.
• Experience in client interaction and ability to meet deadlines.
• Ability to work well with people from a range of cultures.
