Job summary

BruntWork is seeking a Landscape Designer to support its design studio remotely. The ideal candidate will bring a proven background in high-end Australian landscape design, with a keen eye for contemporary aesthetics and meticulous attention to detail.

Responsibilities include creating 2D/3D designs, developing concept plans from briefs, planting schedules, and documentation. Proactive collaboration with the Design Manager via email, Zoom, and Slack is essential.

Qualifications

• Proven, recent experience working on high-end residential designs in Australia.
• Strong grasp of modern Australian-style gardens and aesthetics.
• Portfolio showcasing high-end Australian designs is required.
• Experience preparing 2D and 3D design presentations.
• In-depth familiarity with Australian plants, materials, and construction standards.
• Experience working with international clients.

Our client is looking for a talented Landscape Designer to support their design studio from overseas. This role requires a strong, demonstrated background in high-end Australian landscape design. If you love creating beautiful, functional outdoor spaces, understand the nuances of modern Australian aesthetics, and are confident working independently with a high level of detail, this role is for you.

• Update and refine designs based on client or manager feedback

• Assist with material research and design inspiration boards

• Prepare drawings for estimating and construction teams

About you

• Proven, recent experience working specifically on high-end residential design projects in Australia (Strict Requirement)

• A strong, demonstrated grasp of modern Australian-style gardens and landscape design aesthetics

• Proficiency in SketchUp, AutoCAD, Vectorworks, Lumion, or similar design software

• Diploma or Degree in Landscape Design, Landscape Architecture, Architecture, Environmental Design, or related field

• Proven experience preparing 2D and 3D design presentations (portfolio showcasing high-end Australian designs is required)

• In-depth familiarity with Australian plants, materials, and construction standards

• Experience working with international clients
