Job summary

Eagle Cement Corporation (MNL) is seeking a Welding Quality Engineer to inspect on-site welding and assess quality of structural and mechanical works. You will perform QA/QC across fabrication shops, project sites, and third-party facilities, ensuring compliance with plans and standards.

The role supports operations with critical welding activity assessment and expert guidance on piping and other high-stakes applications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or industrial engineering, or equivalent.
• At least 5 years of related experience.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Background in cement industry is a plus.
• Willing to be relocated to Bulacan with board and lodging.

Responsibilities

• Conduct on-site welding inspection and quality assessment of structural and mechanical works.
• Perform quality control and assurance of welding activities in fabrication shops, project sites, and third-party facilities.
• Inspect and monitor welding works to ensure compliance with approved plans, specifications, standards, and quality requirements.
• Provide technical support to Operations and other teams in assessing critical welding activities and resolving welding-related quality concerns.
• Supervise and provide technical guidance on projects requiring specialized welding expertise, including piping and other critical applications.
• Monitor and ensure the quality of welding works for both in-house and external projects, as required.
• Provide technical assistance and support to other company projects or facilities involving critical welding activities.
• Conduct or assist in the development and delivery of basic welding-related training and knowledge-sharing activities, when required.

• Background in Cement Industry is plus.
• Willing to be relocated to Bulacan (board and lodging provided).
