Job summary

SinoPeak Construction Inc. in Metro Manila is seeking a skilled Welding Inspector to oversee welding and fabrication activities on construction projects, verify compliance with Welding Procedure Specifications, and ensure quality across disciplines.

The ideal candidate has at least five years of welding inspection experience, holds a Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) from AWS, and can coordinate with QA/QC, engineers, contractors, and clients while maintaining thorough inspection reports.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of welding inspection experience in construction, oil & gas, petrochemical, or related sectors.
• Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) issued by AWS.
• Familiar with Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS) and welding processes; able to coordinate NDT activities.

Responsibilities

• Inspect welding and fabrication activities on site.
• Verify compliance with approved Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS).
• Monitor welding consumables, joint preparation, fit-up, and welding processes.
• Perform visual inspection and coordinate NDT activities.
• Prepare inspection reports and maintain quality records.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, applicable codes, and client requirements.
• Coordinate with QA/QC personnel, engineers, contractors, and clients.
