Job summary

Quest Exploration Drilling (Philippines), Inc. seeks a skilled welder to perform day-to-day welding on equipment used in drilling and workshop activities. You will inspect metal stock, ensure specifications, and finish edges and fittings. Expect adherence to PPE rules and potential additional tasks as directed by your supervisor.

Qualifications

• Ability to read blueprints and layouts to weld parts.
• Adherence to safety, health and environmental requirements and use of PPE.
• Operate welding equipment, jigs and hand tools to assemble units per specifications.

Responsibilities

• Position, align, fit, and weld parts to form units using jigs, welding torches and hand tools.
• Lay out and examine metal stock to ensure specifications are met.
• Smooth edges and fit taps, tubes and valves.
• Comply with safety requirements and company policies.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by supervisor.
