Qualifications

Key Responsibilities
Perform TIG welding (GTAW) on stainless steel and other metals as required.
Fabricate and assemble food‑grade piping, conveyors, and processing equipment.
Ensure all welds are smooth, continuous, and free from contamination to meet hygienic design requirements.
Interpret and work from technical drawings, blueprints, and P&IDs.
Conduct grinding, polishing, and passivation of weld joints to achieve sanitary finish.
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance welding on plant machinery and utilities.
Collaborate with engineers and technicians during equipment installation, modification, and repair.
Inspect finished welds and structures for defects, alignment, and quality assurance.
Maintain proper use and storage of welding tools, gas tanks, and PPE.
Ensure all work follows GMP, safety, and food hygiene protocols within the manufacturing area.
Qualifications
TESDA‑certified Welder (TIG/GTAW) or equivalent vocational training.
Minimum 2 years TIG welding experience, preferably in food, beverage, or manufacturing.
Proficient in stainless steel welding, fitting, and fabrication.
Basic understanding of GMP, 5S, and safety procedures in a food plant.
