• Fabricate and repair shipboard locks, doors, hinges, hatches, railings, and metal fittings.
• Cut, grind, fit, and weld metal parts.
• Make sure welding work is safe and follows shipyard standards.
• Assist in ship repair and maintenance work.
• Always follow safety rules and wear proper PPE.
