A welder is responsible for joining metal parts together using various welding techniques such as MIG, TIG, Stick, or oxy-acetylene welding. The job typically involves reading blueprints or technical drawings to understand the specifications of the project, preparing the materials by cleaning and cutting them, and then using welding equipment to fuse the parts. Welders must ensure the quality and strength of the welds, perform safety checks, and maintain tools and equipment.

Key responsibilities include:

• Welding and Fabrication: Use welding tools to join metal components, following design specifications and safety protocols.
• Blueprint Interpretation: Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints to determine the required welding techniques.
• Quality Control: Inspect welds for strength, durability, and appearance to meet industry standards and project requirements.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate, ALS ,Senior/Junior High or HIGHER
• With experience is a plus or w/o experience as long as willing to be trained
• Can work shifting schedule, flexible hours including weekends or holiday
• Physically fit
• good with customer service is an edge
• Detail-oriented, and good with customers
