Job summary

ALC TECHNOLOGIES INC is seeking a Mid-Level Web Developer in the Philippines to build client websites and internal business systems. You will work on two tracks: client web projects (WordPress, HTML/CSS/JS, Laravel) and internal business systems (Laravel/PHP, MySQL, Python/Django as applicable) with emphasis on quality and stable operation.

The role involves transforming unclear requirements into solid specs, collaborating with teams, and occasionally exploring AI/automation tooling as interest

Qualifications

• Proven Web development experience with front-end (HTML/CSS/JS) and back-end (Laravel)
• CMS development experience, especially WordPress and ACF
• Experience building admin panels or business systems (CRUD, auth, roles)
• Strong MySQL relational database knowledge
• Git version control proficiency (GitHub/GitLab)
• Good written and spoken English for async client communications

Responsibilities

• Develop client websites and landing pages (mainly Japanese clients) with accurate implementation from designs

Job Summary

You will build and maintain corporate websites, landing pages, and CMS-based sitesfor our Japanese corporate clients — and also build and extend the internal businesssystems (Laravel/PHP,Python/Django,AI model) that run our clients' operations.This role covers two kinds of work, not one: web production, and business systems.

Business Overview

Due to the increase in both client-based web projects and business systemprojects as our business expands, we are hiring a Mid-Level Web Developer to becomea core member of our IT & Solutions team.Our work covers two distinct areas:1. Client-based contracted web projects, mainly targeting Japanese corporate clients- Corporate websites- Campaign websites- CMS-based websites (WordPress) focused on operation and updates2. Business systems for our clients' operations- Business systems (Laravel/PHP, MySQL)- CRM and sales tools(Python/Django PostgreSQL)- Marketing app (Next.JS ,or TypeScript)We emphasize not only production, but also continuous improvement and stableoperation that contribute to client business results. Occasionally, engineers withinterest can also get involved in AI/automation projects — this is optional, nota requirement.

Job Responsibilities

1. Web Production (Client Websites)

- Develop new websites for client projects (mainly Japanese companies)
- Maintain and improve existing websites
- Build LPs, campaign sites, and corporate websites
- HTML / CSS / JavaScript coding, accurate implementation from designs
- Responsive design and handling Japanese text layout
- CMS development and operation (WordPress: themes, ACF, custom post types)

2. Business Systems Development

- Build and extend internal business systems
- Admin panel development: CRUD, login, roles/permissions, search, pagination
- Understand client business operations and translate them into data models
- Fix technical issues and propose structural improvements

3. Shared Practices Across Both

- Version control using Git (GitHub / GitLab)
- Turn ambiguous requirements (design specs, client requests) into working
implementation, confirming with the team rather than waiting for every detail
- Basic server-related support when required (deployment, SSL, troubleshooting)
- Occasionally explore AI/automation tooling if interested (optional)

Required Skills & Experience

Technical Skills

Preferred Skills (Bonus)

• Understanding of server / domain / CMS structure for stable operation

• Basic knowledge of cPanel, SSL, DNS (A record / CNAME)

• Ability to perform initial troubleshooting and coordinate responses

• SEO structure optimization knowledge

• Experience with Cloudflare or cPanel

• Practical experience with GA4 / GTM / Looker Studio

• Automation experience (GitHub Actions, GAS, etc.)
