Core Cloud Outsourcing in Clark, Philippines, is seeking a web developer to maintain and enhance our modern stack (Astro, Tailwind, Sanity) and to build new sections and features across our sites.
You will work directly with the owners, collaborate with the creative team, and gradually take on bigger tasks including a 3D product configurator and automation via webhooks and API integrations with our CRM.
Core Cloud Outsourcing is a newly opened backend office in Clark, supporting established leaders in the Australian steel building industry. The operations we support have been running in Australia for well over a decade, and we are now bringing our Philippines team together in one office so people can work together, learn from each other, and grow together.
We are a small team, and we think that is the best thing about this job. You will not be one of thousands, and you will not be deployed to a rotating client. You work directly with the owners, on websites and products you will get to know inside out.
Our websites have been rebuilt from WordPress page builders onto a modern stack: Astro with Tailwind CSS, Sanity as the CMS, and Cloudflare Pages for hosting, all deployed through Git. We have also built our own 3D product configurator that customers use to design steel buildings. Right now, the owner does all of this work personally. We are hiring a developer to take on the day-to-day: implementing changes, updating graphics and content, improving pages, and adding new sections and features across our sites, then growing into bigger work as you prove yourself, including the 3D configurator and our automation layer of webhooks and API integrations with our CRM.
We build AI-first. Claude and similar tools are part of daily development here, not a shortcut we feel guilty about. But AI-first only works with real engineering discipline behind it: everything goes through Git with branches and worktrees, everything is backed up, nothing is copy-pasted over live files, and every AI-generated change gets a human eye before it ships. We want someone who works fluently with AI and knows when to push back on it. If the output looks wrong, you say so and dig in. That judgement is the job.
To be upfront: you do not need years and years of experience, and Astro or Sanity specifically can be learned on the job. If you are stuck somewhere doing mundane HTML and CSS tickets and you know you are capable of more, this role was written for you.
