We are seeking a proactive and technically skilled professional to join our team as an IT Solutions & AI Development Specialist. The role requires strong foundational IT knowledge, solution development skills, and a forward-looking approach to emerging technologies, particularly AI, machine learning, and large language models. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who thrives in dynamic environments, demonstrates critical thinking, and can design, document, and deliver robust technical solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Gather, analyse, and document business and solution requirements.
- Map processes, topographical flows, and system architectures.
- Design and develop system and solution architectures.
- Conduct testing, debugging, version control (alpha, beta, release), and maintenance.
- Deploy solutions, train end-users, and provide ongoing support.
Software Development & Technical Competencies
- Write, review, and debug code in at least one modern programming language.
- Apply computational thinking and logical design to problem‑solving.
- Manage codebase through distributed version control systems, including branching, merging, and code review workflows.
- Design and annotate user interfaces and workflows for usability and accessibility.
- Integrate and manage structured data formats (JSON, XML, CSV) and APIs for system interoperability.
- Apply secure coding practices and manage authentication flows.
Systems & Infrastructure
- Support LAN, WAN, GAN, and TCP/IP networking environments.
- Provide expertise in desktop and server software environments.
- Contribute to the automation of builds, testing, and deployment pipelines.
- Understand and implement containerisation, runtime configurations, and environment management.
AI & Emerging Technologies
- Advocate for AI adoption while applying risk‑mitigation strategies.
- Leverage AI and language models (LLMs) for automation, prediction, and solution augmentation.
- Apply knowledge of machine learning, NLP, and prompt engineering to business workflows.
- Evaluate AI outputs critically and integrate them into solution design.
- Produce clear technical documentation, diagrams, and user guides.
- Communicate effectively with technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
- Participate in solution workshops, reviews, and knowledge‑sharing activities.
Requirements
- Self‑starter with the ability to work independently and unsupervised.
- Strong English communication skills (written and verbal).
- Formal IT qualifications (degree or equivalent), or Microsoft‑specific certifications.
- Solid understanding of solution development processes, including requirement gathering, architecture design, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
- Knowledge of networking fundamentals (LAN, WAN, TCP/IP, network topology).
- Competence in desktop and server software environments.
- Ability to apply computational thinking, debugging, and troubleshooting skills.
- Familiarity with secure coding practices and data protection principles.
- Experience with documentation, process mapping, and stakeholder communication.
- Experience with distributed version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Understanding of APIs, structured data handling, and integration workflows.
- Awareness of build automation, testing frameworks, and deployment pipelines.
- Knowledge of AI, machine learning, NLP, and LLM applications.
- Experience in UI/UX design principles, accessibility, and responsive design.

Work Environment & Expectations
While this is a work‑from‑home position, it is important to note that this is a full‑time role—not a freelance or flexible‑hour arrangement. You will be expected to work a fixed shift and maintain a high level of professionalism and accountability, just as you would in an office environment.

Payroll is processed bi‑monthly.
Compensation & Benefits
- Monthly Salary: PHP 65,000.
- Salary will be paid on a bi‑monthly basis on the 15th and 30th or 31st of each month.
- Overtime pay and Philippine public holidays are compensated.
- Probation: 6 months and thereafter.
- 10 days annual leave credits.
