Job summary

Aarav Infotech is seeking an experienced WAS Engineer - MERN Stack Developer to own features end to end across APIs, data, and UI. You will ensure client applications are fast, secure, and dependable while collaborating with UI/UX designers and cross-functional teams.

With at least 2 years of MERN experience, you will design scalable databases, optimize server logic, and implement modern front-end patterns using React Hooks and Redux.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Electronics, Mathematics or related field or boot camp/certification in web development.
• 2+ years of MERN stack development experience with end-to-end feature ownership.
• Experience building and maintaining apps on MongoDB, Express.js, React.js and Node.js.

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced WAS Engineer - MERN Stack Developer with at least 2 years building and maintaining applications on MongoDB, Express.js, React.js and Node.js. You will own features end to end - APIs, data and interface - and keep client applications fast, secure and dependable.

Key Responsibilities

1.Full-Stack Development

• Develop and maintain web applications using MongoDB, Express.js, React.js and Node.js.
• Build and optimize scalable APIs and web services.

2.Database & Server Management

• Design and manage MongoDB databases for data integrity and performance.
• Optimize server-side logic with Express.js and improve API efficiency.

3.Front-End & UI/UX Collaboration

• Work with UI/UX designers on interfaces that are both usable and attractive.
• Ensure cross-browser compatibility and mobile responsiveness.

4.Website Maintenance & Support

• Monitor and maintain client websites, keeping them available and performing.
• Perform routine updates, backups and security checks; keep everything patched and current.
• Protect uptime - troubleshoot issues as they arise and implement fixes promptly.

5.Security & Technical Troubleshooting

• Debug problems across server configuration, database performance and site functionality.
• Apply security best practices, including secure API integration, authentication and authorization.
• Implement SSL, SMTP email configuration and other protective measures.

6.Client Interaction & Issue Resolution

• Work with the client support team to address technical queries and concerns.
• Understand client requirements and implement enhancements accordingly.
• Document and track recurring issues so troubleshooting gets faster over time.

7.Collaboration & Continuous Improvement

• Coordinate with developers, designers and stakeholders to deliver on time.
• Take part in code reviews and internal knowledge-sharing sessions.
• Stay current with emerging web technologies and modern development practices.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Minimum 2 years as a MERN Stack developer.
• Strong proficiency in MongoDB, Express.js, React.js and Node.js.
• Experience with RESTful APIs and GraphQL integrations.
• Proficiency in JavaScript, ES6+ and modern front-end tooling.
• Familiarity with Git, GitHub and version-control best practices.
• Understanding of authentication, authorization and security best practices.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, Mathematics or a related field - or a completed certification program, boot camp or serious self-taught track record in web development.
• Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, MySQL and RESTful APIs.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with real attention to detail.
• ExcAbility to manage several pieces of work at once in a fast-paced support environment.

Good to Have

• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Firebase or DigitalOcean.
• Automated testing and CI/CD pipeline experience.
