Job summary

Canopy is seeking a Data Operations Analyst to manage data operations for financial data, ensuring accuracy, integrity, and security. You will provide reliable reporting to stakeholders and collaborate with Sales, Client Success and Product teams.

Responsibilities include data extraction and aggregation of portfolio data, reconciliation of trading history and end-of-day holdings, identification and escalation of aging exceptions, and process improvements. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or related field; fresh graduates welcome.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel is a must; Python/SQL is a bonus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to work with large data sets and tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of data extraction and aggregation of complex investment portfolio data using our proprietary aggregation software.
• Identify, investigate and resolve aggregated data inconsistencies and errors across all balances.
• Dig deeply into trading history and end-of-day holdings data to perform reconciliation and identify account discrepancies.
• Review recon output and escalate aging data exceptions in a timely manner.
