Job summary

RCBC Wealth Management seeks an Investment & Product Strategist to provide data-backed market insights, portfolio guidance, and actionable recommendations for clients. The role integrates macro research, data analytics, and product alignment to support relationship managers and investment consultants.

Responsibilities include formulating investment strategy, portfolio construction, content for advisors, performance tracking of model portfolios, and developing strategy kits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics or related quantitative field.
• 5+ years of experience in Investment Strategy, Portfolio Management, Product Strategy, or Research within a Financial Institution.
• Deep understanding of global financial markets, portfolio theory, and multi-asset investing.
• SEC Fixed Income Market Salesman (FIMS) is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Formulate and articulate Investment Strategy: develop and communicate the bank's House Views, Strategic and Tactical Asset Allocation, and themes.
• Data-Driven Portfolio Construction: design and validate portfolio strategies with data-driven methods and scenario analysis.
• Investment Product and Strategy Alignment: align recommendations with available product shelf and ensure deliverability and profitability.
• Generate Advisor-Facing Content: produce actionable content for RMs/ICs to facilitate client conversations.
• Maintenance and Performance Tracking of Model Portfolios (e.g., conservative, moderate, aggressive).
• Development of Strategy Kits (e.g., client-ready slide decks, FAQs, performance metrics).
• Present Views and Train RMs/ICs: present investment views in forums and conduct training sessions.
• Real-Time Market Monitoring: monitor macro developments and provide real-time updates and positioning changes.
