Job summary

Egis is seeking a full-time BIM Operator to lead modeling for water infrastructure projects in the Philippines and beyond. You will set up BIM standards, develop 3D models, and generate 2D drawings, coordinating with engineers and architects to ensure accuracy and compliance.

You will use Revit and Civil 3D, contribute to clash detection, and mentor junior staff while aligning with BIM workflows. Expect a fast-paced, collaborative environment on large-scale infrastructure programs.

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field is preferred.
• Proven experience as a BIM Operator in water infrastructure projects.
• Proficiency in Autodesk Revit (Structure, MEP, Architecture) is essential.
• Experience with Civil 3D is a plus.
• Strong understanding of water infrastructure systems and components.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to producing high-quality work.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain BIM models for water infrastructure projects, ensuring accuracy and compliance with project specifications and standards.
• Collaborate with project engineers, architects, and other stakeholders to integrate design requirements into the BIM models.
• Produce detailed 3D models and 2D drawings for various water infrastructure components, including structural, mechanical, electrical, and architectural elements.
• Utilize Revit for creating and managing project documentation, ensuring all models and drawings are up to date and meet industry standards.
• Assist in the coordination and clash detection processes, identifying and resolving conflicts in the design.
• Support the project team with technical expertise in BIM-related tasks and provide training to junior staff as required.
• Collaborate with the BIM Manager to implement and maintain BIM standards and workflows across projects.
• Utilize Civil 3D to integrate BIM models on larger infrastructure development layouts, as needed.
• Utilize AutoCAD to provide more details and enhance civil design elements within 2D extracted layouts.
• Participate in project meetings to discuss and review design progress, challenges, and solutions.
• Stay current with industry trends, tools, and best practices related to BIM and water infrastructure design.
