Job summary

WRN Health Incorporated in General Santos City, South Cotabato, seeks a Compliance Officer - Waste Management. You will develop and implement compliance programs, monitor operations, conduct risk assessments and liaise with regulators.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or higher in a related field such as Environmental Science, Business, Law or Public Health.
2–3 years of experience in compliance, waste management or environmental health and safety roles.
Solid knowledge of Philippine waste management regulations and environmental laws.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement comprehensive waste management compliance policies and procedures.
Monitor and audit waste management operations for regulatory adherence.
Conduct risk assessments related to waste handling, storage, transport and disposal.
Liaise with regulatory authorities to maintain licenses and permits.
Provide compliance training and guidance to staff involved in waste management.
Maintain detailed records of compliance activities, audits and corrective actions.
Investigate violations and recommend remediation strategies.
Prepare reports for senior management and external stakeholders.
Stay updated on changes in waste legislation and communicate updates to teams.
