Job Summary

The Warehouseman is responsible for receiving, storing, organizing, and issuing materials, supplies, and equipment. The role ensures that warehouse operations are carried out efficiently, inventory records are accurate, and all items are handled and stored properly in accordance with company policies and safety standards.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Receive construction materials, tools, and equipment delivered to the warehouse and prepare the Receiving Report (RR).

• Implement proper storage procedures to ensure the safekeeping and preservation of materials, tools, and equipment.

• Monitor and control inventory by maintaining accurate stock records and conducting regular inventory checks.

• Ensure that the issuance of materials is in accordance with approved project requirements and prepare the Material Requisition Slip (MRS).

• Safeguard all materials, tools, and equipment against loss, damage, or unauthorized use.

• Maintain the cleanliness, orderliness, and security of the warehouse.

• Prepare daily inventory, stock issuance, and inventory status reports.

• Coordinate with the Procurement, Logistics, and Project Teams regarding material deliveries, stock availability, and inventory requirements.

• Report inventory discrepancies, damaged materials, and stock shortages to the immediate supervisor.

• Perform other warehouse-related duties as may be assigned by the immediate supervisor.

Qualifications

• High school graduate, Senior High School graduate, or vocational graduate; a college level or college graduate is an advantage.

• At least one (1) year of relevant experience in warehouse operations or inventory management is preferred.

• Basic knowledge of inventory control, warehousing procedures, and stock documentation.

• Able to lift and move materials safely and perform physically demanding tasks.

• Familiar with Microsoft Office applications (especially Excel) and inventory systems is an advantage.

• Willing to work overtime, on shifting schedules, or during weekends and holidays, if required.
