Job summary

AMBER in the Philippines is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to oversee daily warehouse operations, manage shift Manning, and ensure timely delivery receiving and unloading with correct storage.

The ideal candidate holds a BS degree in Logistics, Engineering, SCM or Business Administration, has at least 5 years of related experience, and is proficient with WMS and Excel. You will coach staff, monitor KPI performance, and enforce 5S and Good Warehouse Practices.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Monitor shift Manning and ensure delivery receiving and unloading.
• Settle deliveries to branches and ensure route plans maximize weight and volume.
• Monitor equipment and vehicles and keep records for traceability.
• Communicate job expectations and coach team members.
• Conduct weekly huddles to discuss productivity and KPI.
• Ensure inventory reports are checked and discrepancies reconciled; ensure 5S and GWP compliance.

• Knowledgeable of warehouse software packages (WMS) and MS Office proficiency (Excel).
• Can handle a variety of different projects, spend ample time on each, prioritize and ensure that all project deadlines are met.
• Provide quality customer service through communication, composure, empathy, helpfulness and flexibility.

Job Description

• Monitor manning scheduled for the shift are present. Ensure delivery receiving and unloading are completed and forwarded to designated storage area.
• Settles delivery to the branch and transfers are completed on time and in full. Ensure that route plan is being observed and maximize according to weight and cubic meter.
• Monitor the facility equipment and vehicles are operational and in good condition to avoid delay to operation. Ensure warehouse operation files and documents are organized for fast traceability.
• Communicate job expectations and coach team members. Prepare request for additional or replacement of manning.
• Conduct weekly huddle to warehouse personnel to discuss productivity according to KPI of each personnel.
• Assure inventory reports are checked and submitted on time. Ensure that noted inventory discrepancy is reconciled. Measure and report on the effectiveness of warehouse activities and employee performance. Ensure that warehouses are compliant with Good Warehouse Practices and 5S.
