Job summary

Based on Scientia is seeking a warehouse/inventory specialist to manage receiving, storage, and release of purchased items at the project site. The role requires maintaining accurate inventory and documentation, ensuring compliance with quality standards, and keeping the workspace safe and organized.

Candidates should have a Vocational or short course certificate or a related bachelor's degree, with at least two years in purchasing/inventory and warehouse management within construction.

Qualifications

• Must possess at least a Vocational / Short Course Certificate or Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Purchasing/Inventory and Warehouse Management in a construction company.

Responsibilities

• Check, receive, and release all purchased items and monitor warehouse tools and equipment at the project site.
• Ensure all incoming and outgoing deliveries are hauled, stored, and tallied with records and quality standards.
• Prepare and file warehouse documents like delivery receipts and return slips.
• Regularly update and maintain inventory records.
• Maintain efficient stock filing and proper stock levels for each product.
• Safekeep and maintain tools, repair kits, and equipment.
• Handle item conversions (assembly/disassembly) of goods at a minimum level.
• Ensure goods to be returned comply with item returning procedures.
• Keep shelves, pallet areas, and workstations clean and organized.
