Job Summary:
The Warehouse Manager is responsible for overseeing the overall warehouse and inventory operations, ensuring efficient storage, handling, movement, and accurate monitoring of materials and products. The role involves managing warehouse personnel, maintaining inventory accuracy, implementing operational procedures, and coordinating with other departments to meet business requirements.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Oversee and manage daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, inventory, picking, and dispatching.
- Ensure proper implementation of warehouse management procedures and inventory controls.
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure accuracy of stock records.
- Conduct and oversee inventory counts, stock reconciliation, and inventory monitoring.
- Manage warehouse personnel, including task delegation, scheduling, performance monitoring, and motivation.
- Ensure proper handling, storage, and movement of materials and products.
- Identify warehouse operational issues and implement appropriate corrective actions.
- Coordinate with other departments regarding inventory, materials, transportation, and warehouse requirements.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve warehouse efficiency, productivity, and inventory accuracy.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
- Prepare and monitor warehouse and inventory reports.
- Lead the team in achieving operational targets and maintaining an organized and efficient warehouse.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's/College Degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration/Management, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of relevant working experience in warehouse, inventory, materials, transportation, or logistics operations.
- Preferably with experience in an Assistant Manager or Manager-level position specializing in Inventory/Materials, Transportation, Warehouse Management, or equivalent.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse management and inventory operations.
- Excellent understanding of warehouse procedures and inventory control.
- Strong leadership and people management skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to lead, motivate, and delegate tasks effectively.
- Ability to work collaboratively with different departments and teams.
- Capable of handling both day-to-day operational concerns and strategic warehouse improvements.
