Job summary

ITAL DESIGN FURNITURE DEPOT is hiring a Maintenance & Facility Supervisor to oversee the upkeep and safety of the warehouse, ensuring operations run smoothly. You will supervise maintenance personnel, coordinate with electricians and contractors, and maintain facility records to meet company standards.

The role demands strong technical knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and building systems, plus hands-on supervision of repairs and preventive maintenance in a retail/warehouse setting.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience in facility maintenance, warehouse maintenance, building maintenance, engineering, or related operations.
• Retail, warehouse, distribution center, logistics, or commercial facilities experience is highly preferred.
• Experience supervising maintenance personnel and contractors is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance and upkeep of warehouse facilities, including structures, roofing, flooring, walls, ceilings, doors, loading areas, and storage.
• Monitor electrical systems, lighting, panels, wiring, and other electrical facilities; coordinate preventive maintenance and repairs.
• Inspect structures and supervise minor construction, repairs, renovations, and improvements.
• Monitor warehouse equipment such as pallets racks, forklifts, conveyors; establish preventive maintenance schedules.
• Develop and implement a preventive maintenance program; prioritize safety and operational impact of repairs.
• Ensure safety compliance; coordinate with Safety Officer and Operations Team; manage emergency exits and safety facilities.
• Coordinate with external contractors and service providers; evaluate quotations; monitor performance and finalize payments.
• Prepare maintenance budgets and cost-control measures; monitor expenses and inventories.
• Supervise maintenance staff; assign tasks; provide coaching; monitor attendance and productivity.
• Prepare maintenance reports; document preventive and corrective activities; monitor downtime and costs.
