Mets Cold Storage Services Inc. is hiring a Warehouse Checker for its Taguig/Caloocan area to verify inbound and outbound warehouse transactions, check quantities, product details, and condition, and ensure all records are accurate and compliant with SOPs and safety standards.

The role focuses on physical checks, documentation validation, and collaboration with Inventory and Documentation staff to maintain precise warehouse data and smooth operations.

Competenze

• 1–2 years related experience in Cold Storage, Warehousing, Logistics, Distribution, Manufacturing, or related industries.

Responsible for checking and verifying inbound and outbound warehouse transactions, ensuring the accuracy of quantity, product details, condition, and supporting documents. Ensures that warehouse activities are properly documented and performed in accordance with company policies, SOPs, and safety standards.

Primary Responsibilities:

Inbound Checking – Checks incoming products against delivery documents, receiving records, and system information.

Outbound Checking – Verifies products, quantities, and details prior to dispatch to ensure accuracy.

Quantity Verification – Conducts physical counting and validates quantities against approved documents.

Product Verification – Checks product descriptions, codes, batch/lot numbers, and other relevant details.

Product Condition Checking – Inspects products for visible damage, discrepancies, or irregularities during receiving and dispatch.

Documentation Checking – Verifies completeness and accuracy of warehouse documents such as receiving and dispatch documents.

System Validation – Coordinates with Documentation Staff or Inventory personnel to ensure transactions are properly recorded in the warehouse system.

Discrepancy Reporting – Immediately reports quantity, product, documentation, or condition discrepancies to the immediate supervisor.

Loading and Unloading Monitoring – Checks products during loading and unloading to ensure the correct items and quantities are handled.

Inventory Support – Assists in physical inventory counts, cycle counts, and reconciliation activities when required.

Storage Location Verification – Ensures products are placed or picked from the correct designated storage locations.

Temperature and Handling Compliance – Ensures products are handled in accordance with applicable cold storage and product-handling requirements.

Warehouse Safety Compliance – Follows safety procedures and proper warehouse practices during all checking activities.

SOP Compliance – Performs checking activities in accordance with approved SOPs, work instructions, and company policies.

Records and Reporting – Maintains accurate checking records and submits required daily or periodic reports.

Coordination – Coordinates with Warehouse Operations, Documentation, Inventory, Drivers, and other concerned departments regarding warehouse transactions.

Exception Handling – Assists in investigating discrepancies and provides supporting information for corrective action.

Housekeeping and 5S – Maintains cleanliness, orderliness, and proper workplace organization within the assigned area.

Audit Support – Provides documents and information needed during internal, customer, or regulatory audits.

Other Duties – Performs other warehouse-related duties as may be assigned by the immediate supervisor.
