Overview
A waiter, also known as a server, is responsible for taking customer orders, delivering food and drinks, and ensuring that customers have a pleasant dining experience.
Responsibilities
- Greet and seat customers: Welcome guests to the restaurant, guide them to their tables, and provide menus.
- Take orders: Listen attentively to customers’ food and drink orders and enter them into the system.
- Serve food and drinks: Deliver food and beverages to the table in a timely manner and ensure that everything is prepared as ordered.
- Provide recommendations: Suggest menu items, specials, or wine pairings to enhance the dining experience.
- Ensure customer satisfaction: Monitor guests’ needs during the meal, checking in periodically to ensure they are satisfied.
- Handle payments: Present the bill to customers, process payments, and return change or receipts.
- Maintain cleanliness: Keep tables clean and organized, and clear plates and silverware once guests are finished.
- Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff: Communicate orders clearly to kitchen and bar staff and relay any special requests from customers.
- Follow health and safety standards: Adhere to food safety and cleanliness standards at all times.
Qualifications
- Trustworthy and with pleasing personality
- High School Graduate, ALS ,Senior/Junior High or HIGHER
- With experience is a plus or w/o experience as long as willing to be trained
- Can work shifting schedule, flexible hours including weekends or holiday
- Physically fit
- With valid original barangay and police clearance
- Good with customer service is an edge
- Detail-oriented, and good with customers
