Job summary

HSBC is seeking an experienced VP Workspace Health and Safety in the Philippines to oversee H&S and operational management within Real Estate Services. The role includes enforcing global and local standards, coordinating with vendors, and supporting governance, risk controls, and financial planning.

The successful candidate will drive H&S policy adoption, deliver risk assessments, and ensure facilities meet workplace standards while coordinating with regulatory bodies and internal audit teams.

Qualifications

• Acted as a Safety Officer; SO2/SO4 qualifications preferred.
• Knowledge of H&S legislation in country and compliance.
• Experience in facilities/budgetary real estate management.

Responsibilities

• Ensure adherence to Global HSBC H&S controls and local laws.
• Implement H&S policy and manage country requirements and risks.
• Develop action plans with Real Estate Services team and suppliers.
• Coordinate drills, inspections and incident reporting; support audits.
