Job summary

Synchrony in Metro Manila is seeking a Senior Finance Systems Leader to oversee finance and controllership activities, driving the development and maintenance of finance systems and the general ledger infrastructure. You will lead the finance team through system design, testing, and deployment while ensuring robust data requirements and reporting.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting.
12–15 years of finance, accounting or finance systems experience.
6+ years leadership experience managing exempt employees in financial services.

Responsibilities

Serve as SME in finance systems and lead development/maintenance of the GL infrastructure.
Lead and support finance team through system design, testing and deployment.
Partner with IT to implement accounting/finance changes and system upgrades.
Oversee finance close activities and data feeds to downstream systems.
Manage PEZA/BOI reporting and other regulatory filings (BIR, SAWT, etc.).
Foster an inclusive, accountable work environment and strong governance.
