Job summary

Synchrony Global Services Philippines, Inc. is seeking a seasoned leader to head finance and controllership activities, focusing on developing and maintaining finance systems and GL infrastructure.

You will guide system development, testing, and deployment, and drive data requirements for enhancements while supporting a high-performing finance team. The role requires 12–15 years in finance/ accounting, with at least 6 years in leadership within financial services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting required.
• 12–15 years of finance, accounting, or finance systems experience.
• 6+ years of leadership experience managing exempt employees in financial services.

Responsibilities

• Lead finance systems strategy and governance for GL infrastructure.
• Partner with IT to design, test, and implement accounting routines.
• Oversee close processes and system feeds.
• Manage PEZA/BOI reporting and regulatory compliance.
• Provide direction to local finance team and develop staff.
• Present updates to senior management and stakeholders.
• Uphold ISMS policies and ensure policy adherence.
