Citi is seeking a Senior Credit Underwriter to join its Institutional Credit Management team in APAC. In this Vice President role you will own credit underwriting and portfolio monitoring for a dedicated book of APAC Real Money Funds clients, working with traders, markets professionals, and risk approvers.

The position offers a hybrid work model with 3 days in office and 2 remote, exposure to complex capital markets transactions across derivatives, fixed income, FX, and securities, and

Qualifications

• Six to ten years of credit risk or credit-related experience in banking or financial institutions.
• Ability to assess complex capital markets exposures across derivatives, fixed income, foreign exchange, securities, and fund structures.
• Senior credit approval experience with large and complex underwritings and multi-product derivatives.
• Ability to engage with regulators and governance teams with strong governance.
• Strong judgement under pressure to make timely credit decisions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication to senior stakeholders and approval forums.

Responsabilités

• Manage end-to-end credit underwriting for a portfolio of APAC Real Money Funds clients.
• Author and approve Credit Approval Memos and lead the underwriting cycle from origination to senior credit approval.
• Monitor portfolio health with annual and quarterly reviews and stress testing analyses.
• Review financial analyses, projection modelling, risk ratings, and due diligence by junior team members.
• Partner with Front Office and Markets to structure new transactions and advise on risk/return trade-offs.
• Engage with regulators, Internal Audit, and control functions to meet risk standards.
• Build relationships with Banking, Risk, and Product partners across geographies to deliver well-reasoned credit decisions.
