Organizational context: The Process and Control Support Team (PCST) within the Global Shared Services Centre (GSSC) Finance Hub provides worldwide support for financial master data and ERP system access controls. This role, based in Manila, acts as a senior technical focal point, overseeing operational management and ensuring the integrity and security of global financial processes in close coordination with various departments.

Job purpose: The Senior Data and Systems Control Associate serves as the senior technical focal point for the operational management and oversight of ERP system access controls and corporate financial master data processes. This role is crucial for maintaining the integrity, security, and continuous improvement of global financial processes. The associate will provide technical guidance, ensure consistent application of control frameworks, address complex system and data issues, and coordinate with Finance, Policy, ICT, and business stakeholders to support accurate financial reporting and operational efficiency worldwide.

Responsibilities: Interpret and translate functional requirements into standardized ERP role management workflows. Plan, coordinate, and oversee the end-to-end process for reviewing and provisioning ERP user access requests globally. Oversee the implementation of approved updates to system permission rules and ensure timely modification, suspension, or de-provisioning of user access. Lead periodic user access reviews, coordinate resolution of control exceptions, and provide technical input on risks. Oversee and coordinate the maintenance of central financial master data, ensuring accuracy and compliance. Support testing and validation of financial master data modifications. Provide technical guidance to staff on complex system errors, data integrity, and access control conflicts. Manage the team’s support ticketing system, prioritizing work and identifying process improvements. Analyze bottlenecks and propose enhancements to strengthen controls and improve efficiency. Conduct performance reviews for direct reports and update team procedures.

Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field with five years of relevant experience is required. Alternatively, a High School diploma with seven years of relevant experience is acceptable. Certification as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) is considered an advantage.

Work experience: Experience is required in ERP systems administration, access and role management, financial master data management, or related systems control functions. Candidates should have experience applying internal controls, supporting data integrity within enterprise systems, coordinating complex workflows, and providing technical guidance. Experience supervising staff and working with multiple business functions is advantageous.

Skills: Sound knowledge of financial systems, accounting principles, internal controls, and ERP processes. Ability to review system access and financial master data, identify discrepancies, and recommend corrective actions. Skill in interpreting functional requirements and translating them into operational workflows. Strong organizational, problem-solving, interpersonal, and communication skills. Advanced computer literacy, including Microsoft Office and ERP systems.
