Job summary

SM Supermalls seeks a design lead to create, implement and maintain the overall design aesthetics across malls under supervision, ensuring solutions align with the brand and budget.

You will develop concepts to strengthen the brand, oversee fabrication/installation of displays, manage budgets for operations and projects, and coordinate with internal teams and external partners to drive marketing outcomes. Lead and mentor the design team for continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Develop creative concepts and designs that strengthen the company’s brand image, attract customers, and boost sales.
• Manage AVID and project execution by overseeing fabrication, installation, and maintenance of visual displays and marketing materials.
• Plan and control budgets for annual operations, special projects, and décor procurement to ensure cost efficiency and alignment with company goals.
• Handle administrative and operational tasks including documentation, asset management, and coordination with internal teams and external partners.
• Lead and develop team members by providing guidance, feedback, and opportunities for professional growth and performance improvement.

Responsible for creating, implementing and maintaining the overall design aesthetics of the malls under his/her supervision. Provides design recommendations and solutions relevant to the mall’s operational needs and ensures that all display installations stay within budget and adhere to the standards & brand image of the company.
