Job summary

SM Supermalls is seeking a Visual Display and Design Manager to create, implement and maintain the malls' design aesthetics across its portfolio, ensuring that all displays strengthen the brand image and operational efficiency.

You will lead the design team, oversee fabrication and installation, manage annual budgets for openings and special projects, and collaborate with internal and external partners to deliver visually striking in-store experiences that drive sales.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Visual Merchandising, Interior Design, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in visual display and design, preferably in the retail or shopping mall industry.
• Proven track record of creating visually striking and effective in-store displays.
• Strong understanding of design principles, color theory, and spatial planning.
• Excellent project management and team leadership skills.
• Up-to-date knowledge of the latest visual merchandising trends and best practices.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop creative concepts and visual designs that strengthen the company’s brand, attract customers, and drive sales growth.
• Manage project execution and AVID workflow by overseeing fabrication, installation, and maintenance of décor and marketing materials.
• Plan and monitor budgets for annual operations, mall openings, and special projects to ensure cost efficiency and alignment with company goals.
• Handle administrative coordination through documentation, reporting, asset management, and collaboration with internal and external partners.
• Lead and develop team members through effective management, performance evaluation, and participation in talent development initiatives.
