Job summary

OneOcean Group is seeking a skilled Visual Designer for an 18-month fixed-term contract in the Philippines. You will craft engaging digital learning experiences, transform storyboards into interactive modules, and deliver assets that work across LMS platforms using SCORM/xAPI.

Collaboration with instructional designers is key. You should bring strong design skills, proficiency with Figma and Adobe Creative Suite, and familiarity with e-learning standards.

Qualifications

• Proven Visual Designer experience.
• Articulate Rise and Storyline proficiency encouraged.
• Solid visual design: layout, typography, branding, color.
• Familiar with Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, Blender.
• Understanding of SCORM/xAPI tracking standards.
• Knowledge of LMS platforms and troubleshooting.
• Ability to interpret storyboards with accuracy.
• Strong design sense and attention to detail.
• JavaScript and CSS for custom features.
• Experience in e-learning is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop high-quality elearning courses using Articulate Rise and Storyline.
• Create and refine multimedia assets (graphics, layouts, interactions, animations).
• Collaborate with Instructional Designers to transform concepts into learning experiences.
• Package and publish courses following SCORM and xAPI specs.
• Ensure visual consistency, accessibility, and responsive performance.
• Test, troubleshoot, and deploy courses in various LMS environments.
• Validate course reporting across SCORM/xAPI LMS systems.

Navigating the position:

Visual Designer

We’re looking for a highly skilled Visual Designer who can transform instructional storyboards into engaging, interactive, and polished digital learning experiences. If you have a strong mix of development skills and multimedia creativity, we’d love to meet you.

As a Visual Designer you will work closely with Instructional Designers to bring training concepts to life. You will develop elearning modules, create supporting multimedia assets, and ensure seamless delivery through LMS platforms using SCORM and xAPI standards.

**Please not this will be an 18 month fixed term contract**

Key Responsibilities

• Develop highquality elearning courses using Articulate Rise and Articulate Storyline
• Create and refine multimedia assets (graphics, layouts, interactions, animations) based on storyboards
• Team up with Instructional Designers and SMEs to transform concepts into compelling learning experiences.
• Package and publish courses following SCORM (1.2/2004) and xAPI specifications
• Ensure visual consistency, accessibility compliance, and responsive performance
• Test, troubleshoot, and deploy courses within various LMS environments
• Validate course reporting (completion, scoring, tracking) across SCORM/xAPIcompatible LMS systems

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

• Proven experience as a Visual Designer
• proficiency in Articulate Rise and Articulate Storyline (great to have but not mandatory)
• Solid visual design skills (layout, typography, branding, color, composition)
• Proficiency with design tools such as Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, and Blender!
• Strong understanding of SCORM (1.2/2004) and xAPI tracking standards
• Solid working knowledge of LMS platforms and troubleshooting LMSrelated issues
• Ability to interpret and implement storyboards with accuracy and creativity
• Strong design sense and attention to detail
• Working knowledge of JavaScript and CSS for custom functionality
• e-learning experience desirable
