Job summary

HPL Gamedesign Studio is seeking a Visual and Technical Quality Auditor to join our Visual & Technical Quality Team. This is a non-production role focused on reviewing completed work before submission to the client.

The Auditor will use their professional expertise in their assigned discipline to evaluate whether completed outputs meet the client brief, project requirements, approved references, and quality standards.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of professional experience in a relevant creative, technical, or digital production discipline.
• Strong professional expertise in your specific area of specialization.
• Excellent attention to detail and a strong critical eye.
• Ability to understand and work from briefs, specifications, and references.
• Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills.
• Ability to identify issues that others may overlook.
• Good communication skills and ability to provide clear, actionable feedback.
• Comfortable reviewing and challenging completed work objectively.
• Experience in QA, QC, testing, auditing, or production review is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Review completed work against client briefs, specifications, and approved references.
• Identify errors, omissions, inconsistencies, and quality issues before client submission.
• Check whether required elements and specifications have been properly implemented.
• Test functionality and interactions where applicable to the assigned discipline.
• Identify obvious bugs, technical issues, or incorrect behavior where relevant.
• Provide clear, specific, and actionable feedback to Production.
• Document issues and provide supporting evidence when necessary.
• Recheck corrected outputs before final approval.

ABOUT THE ROLE

HPL Gamedesign Studio is looking for a Visual and Technical Quality Auditor to join our Visual & Technical Quality Team.

This is a non-production role focused on reviewing completed work before it is submitted to the client.

The Auditor will use their professional expertise in their assigned discipline to evaluate whether completed outputs meet the client brief, project requirements, approved references, and quality standards.

You will be hired based on your specific area of expertise. You are not expected to be an expert across multiple disciplines.

For example, we may hire Graphic Designers to audit graphic design work, Illustrators to audit illustration work, Animators to audit animation work, or Developers to audit game or web outputs.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Review completed work against client briefs, specifications, and approved references.

• Identify errors, omissions, inconsistencies, and quality issues before client submission.

THIS IS A NON-PRODUCTION ROLE

You will not be responsible for creating client deliverables as part of this position.

Your professional skill set will be used to review and evaluate work produced by the Production team.

You will not need to be an expert in every HPL production discipline. You will primarily audit work related to your own area of professional expertise.
