Job summary

Teradyne Philippines is seeking a software/vision test engineer to develop and implement advanced testing solutions ensuring high-quality product performance. The role requires analyzing vision and automation failures, developing tests, and collaborating with teams to optimize customer device testing.

Candidates should have a BSECE/Computer Engineering/Mechatronics background, strong electronics knowledge, and good communication skills.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in BSECE, Computer Engineering or Mechatronics Engineering.
Solid background in Electronics.
Solid background in C#, C++, Python.
Experience with Automated Test Equipment.
Experience with vision software Cognex and Matrox.
Able to work in a team or individually.
Self-motivated with minimal supervision.
Good communication skills.
Familiarity with Teradyne SLT is a plus.

Responsibilities

Performs analysis on vision software failures, automation failures and diagnostics during production run.
Develops and test vision profile for customer device.
Develops testing routines that simulate customer device tests to replicate issues observed by customers.
Performs failure analysis on Automated Test Equipment.
Recommends application changes where applicable.
Develops improvements to diagnostics where applicable.
