Edit footage, add transitions, subtitles, text animations, and basic VFX; ensure audio-video sync and smooth pacing.
Perform color correction/grading, audio mixing (BGM, sound effects, voiceover), and noise reduction; optimize overall visual & auditory quality.
Export videos in required formats/resolutions for platforms like TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, Bilibili (e.g., 9:16 vertical, 16:9 horizontal, 4K/1080P).
Organize, label, classify, and back up raw footage (video, audio, images) for efficient retrieval and version control.
Participate in pre-production meetings; review scripts/storyboards, propose editing feasibility suggestions, and communicate shooting needs to the camera team.
Maintain and update the material library (footage, music, fonts, templates) to improve workflow efficiency.
Understand brand guidelines, project objectives, and target audience; ensure videos maintain a consistent style (e.g., trendy & fast-paced for social media, formal & concise for corporate videos).
Follow industry trends (editing styles, hot effects, popular BGM) and optimize content for higher engagement (views, likes, shares).
Iterate on edits based on feedback from directors, clients, or operations teams; revise quickly while ensuring quality.
Collaborate closely with videographers, colorists, sound designers, copywriters, and operations staff to align on creative direction and deliver on schedule.
Ensure all materials (music, fonts, footage) are copyright-compliant to avoid legal risks.
Track project progress, manage multiple tasks simultaneously, and meet tight deadlines without compromising quality.
Maintain and troubleshoot editing hardware/software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve).
Continuously learn new editing techniques, tools, and industry best practices; keep skills updated with the latest trends.
