Job Summary

The Video Editor is responsible for assembling, editing, and enhancing raw video footage into high-quality television content for programs, commercials, promotions, features, and other broadcast materials. The position ensures that all edited content meets creative, technical, and broadcast standards while complying with production schedules and deadlines.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Edit raw footage into polished television content based on production requirements and creative direction.
• Arrange video sequences, audio, graphics, effects, subtitles, and transitions for final output.
• Collaborate with producers, directors, cameramen, writers, and production staff regarding editing requirements and revisions.
• Synchronize audio, music, voice‑overs, and visual effects accurately.
• Ensure proper color correction, sound quality, and overall video enhancement.
• Prepare final edited materials for television broadcast, online streaming, and social media platforms.
• Maintain organized storage, backup, and archiving of video files and project materials.
• Operate and maintain editing equipment and software.
• Review and ensure all outputs comply with company branding, broadcast standards, and technical specifications.
• Meet project timelines and production deadlines efficiently.
• Perform other related duties that may be assigned by Management from time to time.
