Your Role
As a Senior Video Editor, you will work entirely in DaVinci Resolve Studio to cut, color‑grade, sweeten, and finish both long‑form lessons and quick‑hit marketing assets.
Responsibilities
- Edit, grade, mix, and master lesson videos, trailers, and social snippets using the full DaVinci Resolve suite (Cut, Fusion, Color, Fairlight, Deliver).
- Incorporate branded motion graphics—such as titles, lower thirds, and call‑outs—following specific academy guidelines.
- Refine pacing and narrative alongside creators, proactively flagging any missing coverage or audio issues early in the process.
- Prepare deliverables in multiple aspect ratios (16:9, 9:16, 1:1) and compress files to correct bit‑rates for Kajabi, YouTube, and social platforms.
- Review renders for technical artifacts and audio sync before hand‑off, ensuring tidy folder structures and metadata in cloud storage.
- Participate in daily stand‑ups and peer reviews to help elevate the overall team quality.
Required Qualification
- 4+ years of professional editing experience (portfolio/reel required).
- Expert‑level DaVinci Resolve skills, including Fusion compositing and Fairlight audio cleanup.
- Proven motion‑graphics expertise in Resolve or After Effects.
- Strong grasp of codecs (H.264, ProRes, BRAW), color‑managed workflows, and LUTs.
- Reliable fiber‑class internet (at least 50 Mbps down / 20 Mbps up) and a calibrated monitor.
- Fluent in written and spoken English for daily creative direction and progress updates.
Preferred Skills
- Familiarity with art‑or education‑focused video content.
- Skills in audio sweetening or original music composition.
