Job summary

MicroSourcing seeks a Senior Video Editor to work from home, delivering long-form and marketing assets using DaVinci Resolve Studio.

You will cut, color grade, and sweeten footage, produce branded graphics, and ensure assets meet platform specs while collaborating in daily stand-ups.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of professional editing experience; portfolio required.
• Expert-level DaVinci Resolve with Fusion and Fairlight.
• Motion-graphics proficiency in Resolve or After Effects.
• Strong knowledge of codecs (H.264, ProRes, BRAW) and color workflows.
• Reliable internet and calibrated monitor.
• Fluent written and spoken English.

Your Role

As a Senior Video Editor, you will work entirely in DaVinci Resolve Studio to cut, color-grade, sweeten, and finish both long-form lessons and quick-hit marketing assets.

You Will

• Edit, grade, mix, and master lesson videos, trailers, and social snippets using the full DaVinci Resolve suite (Cut, Fusion, Color, Fairlight, Deliver).
• Incorporate branded motion graphics—such as titles, lower thirds, and call-outs—following specific academy guidelines.
• Refine pacing and narrative alongside creators, proactively flagging any missing coverage or audio issues early in the process.
• Prepare deliverables in multiple aspect ratios (16:9, 9:16, 1:1) and compress files to correct bit-rates for Kajabi, YouTube, and social platforms.
• Review renders for technical artifacts and audio sync before hand-off, ensuring tidy folder structures and metadata in cloud storage.
• Participate in daily stand-ups and peer reviews to help elevate the overall team quality.
  
  

What You Need

Non-negotiables

• 4+ years of professional editing experience (portfolio/reel required).
• Expert-level DaVinci Resolve skills, including Fusion compositing and Fairlight audio cleanup.
• Proven motion-graphics expertise in Resolve or After Effects.
• Strong grasp of codecs (H.264, ProRes, BRAW), color-managed workflows, and LUTs.
• Reliable fiber-class internet (at least 50 Mbps down / 20 Mbps up) and a calibrated monitor.
• Fluent in written and spoken English for daily creative direction and progress updates.

• Familiarity with art- or education-focused video content.
