About the Team & Business Line:
Fund Administration is Citco’s core business, and our alternative asset and accounting service is one of the industry’s most respected. Our continuous investment in learning and technology solutions means our people are equipped to deliver a seamless client experience.
As a core member of our Real Assets team, you will be working with some of the industry’s most accomplished professionals to deliver award-winning services for complex fund structures that our clients can depend upon.
Your Role:
- Encompass all facets of the calculation of net asset values on a variety of complex hedge funds. Managing a group of clients with your senior vice presidents, your responsibilities will include;
- Performing the administration of and any services pursuant to administration agreements in respect of a portfolio of hedge fund clients;
- Review and sign-off of Net Asset Value calculations, financial statements and associated reports
- Reviewing/Authorizing payments and other transactions;
- Address and/or escape all material issues affecting the NAV production process or client relationship in general to Senior Vice President in a detailed and timely manner
- Primary point of contact and escalation for the Year end process with respect to audit timelines, Financial Statement Preparation, Regulatory filings, Tax services, etc.
- Primary point of contact and escalation for KPIs and KRIs on the client deliverables of the team
- Coordination and oversight for all facets of SSC pipeline – includes New Business, migrations, organic changes including liquidations and resignations; monitor and escrow ingestion and progress of new clients, fund launches and on boarding of existing clients
- Identify Staffing/Training needs to efficiently manage pipeline; monitor requirements against actual while proactively engaging stakeholders to facilitate hiring and training requirements
- Work closely with SSC and LO stakeholders to maximize client profitability; monitor and report on SSC and LO resource management at client, individual and location level for Senior Management action
- Review and action on Operational MIS Reporting – reporting on Fund Operational Metrics, adherence to risk and best practice guidelines, turnover, productivity/efficiencies to name a few
- Acting as the senior representative, co-ordinate strategic and operational initiatives between SSC FA Management/SDG/Global project teams and the Local Project Coordinators (LPCs) within each locations to achieve successful execution
- Develop and maintain strong relationships across CFS to effectively facilitate CFS SSC FA strategies and goals
About You:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, Business related area and/or studying for a professional accounting qualification (ie. CA, CPA equivalent)
- Minimum of 8+ years’ experience in accounting for the financial services sector, particularly Real Estate, Asset Management or Fund Administration.
- Knowledge of IFRS and / or USGAAP is an added advantage.
- Experienced in reviewing general ledger and financial statements.
- Established knowledge in relation to accounting and consolidations under IFRS is an added advantage.
- Excellent communication skills and proficiency in English (both verbal and written).
- Motivated, bright and diligent individual who is driven to meet deadlines.
- A team manager who is also able to manage individual responsibilities.
- Supervisory skills with experience in managing and/or leading staff for 6+ years.
- Strong business acumen.
- Good client/ business relationship management
- Sound judgment, problem solving and analytical skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint etc.).
- User experience with Yardi accounting system(s) is preferable.
- Amenable to working in our Makati (OneAyala Corporate) and/or Alabang office (Northgate Cyber Zone, Filinvest City).
- Amenable to working in a Hybrid work arrangement (required to work onsite for 3 days per week).
- Amenable to working in shifting schedules.
