Job summary

The Citco Group Limited in Makati/Alabang area seeks a detail‑oriented accounting professional with 1+ year of audit or accounting experience. You will maintain ledgers, prepare financial statements, partner allocations, and support fund structures while coordinating with auditors and clients in a hybrid work environment.

Strong Excel skills and English communication are essential, along with a degree in Business or Finance and pursuit of ACA/ACCA/CIMA/CPA.

Qualifications

• Degree in Business or Finance related area.
• Designated accountant or working towards ACA/ACCA/CIMA/CPA.
• At least 1 year of public/private audit/accounting work experience.
• Experience in reviewing and preparing general ledgers and financial statements.
• Excellent communication skills and proficiency in English (oral and written).
• Motivated, diligent individual with deadlines in mind.
• Team player able to manage individual responsibilities.
• Advanced MS Excel; proficient with MS Word and MS PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and control the general ledger and sub-ledgers.
• Prepare financial statements, footnotes and partner capital statements.
• Prepare allocations for limited and general partners.
• Prepare trial balances and work papers.
• Process standard and complex bookkeeping entries.
• Engage in full cycle accounting and financial data analysis.
• Monitor client deliverables for timing and quality.
• Interact with management and clients.
• Review real estate fund partnership agreements and related materials.
• Assist in implementing fund structures on the accounting system.
• Train and support team members and liaise with auditors and legal counsel.
• Handle wire payments and analyze complex Excel spreadsheets.
• Coordinate with property management companies.

About The Team & Business Line

Your Role

• Your main focus will be on accounting and analysis.
• Maintain and control the general ledger and various sub‑ledgers.
• Prepare financial statements, footnotes and partner capital statements.
• Prepare limited partner and general partner allocations.
• Prepare trial balances and work paper product.
• Process standard and complex bookkeeping entries.
• Involved within a full scope of transaction activities including full cycle accounting.
• Prepare financial data analysis.
• Monitor the timing and quality of client deliverables.
• Interact with Management and Clients.
• Review the real estate fund client’s partnership agreements, PPM’s and other materials.
• Participate in the implementation of fund structures onto the accounting system.
• Monitor compliance of various agreements with clients, including the Service Level Agreement
• Train and support team members in their development.
• Operate as a contact point for clients; able to respond to and resolve queries or elevate where necessary.
• Act as a liaison with various internal /external parties – i.e. auditors, legal counsel.
• Assist in client audit procedures.
• Process wire transfer payments on behalf of clients.
• Prepare and analyze complex Excel spreadsheets.
• Liaise with property management companies.

About You

• You have a degree in Business or Finance related area.
• Designated accountant or working towards ACA, ACCA, CIMA or CPA designation.
• With at least 1 year of public/private audit / accounting work experience.
• Experience in reviewing and preparing general ledgers and financial statements.
• Excellent communication skills and proficiency in English (both verbal and written).
• Motivated, bright and diligent individual who is driven to meet deadlines.
• Team player who is able to manage individual responsibilities.
• Sound judgment, problem solving and analytical skills
• Advanced level MS Excel, Proficient with MS Word, MS PowerPoint.
• Knowledge of MRI, Yardi, or Investran (a plus).
• Experience in Limited Partnership accounting (a plus).
• Private equity/real estate fund administration experience (a plus).
• Amenable to working in our Alabang (Northgate Cyber Zone, Filinvest City, Alabang Muntinlupa)
• Amenable to working under Hybrid work arrangements (3 days working onsite per week)
• Amenable to working on shifting schedules (AM and Mid shift)
