Job summary

TigerUX is seeking a Veterinarian Leader in Batangas to oversee swine health programs across contract farms and ensure biosecurity and welfare standards. You will implement vaccines, treatments, and disease prevention measures while guiding production teams and contract growers.

The role requires a DVM with PRC license and 2–3 years in commercial swine production, with strong communication, leadership, and analytical skills. On-site position with benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• DVM with PRC veterinary license is required.
• 2–3 years in commercial swine production or contract-growing operations.
• Strong knowledge of swine health, disease management, biosecurity and ASF prevention.
• Valid driver's license to operate a four-wheel vehicle.

• Experience in financial analysis (ROI, IRR, cost-benefit analyses).

Responsibilities

• Oversee animal health, biosecurity, and welfare programs across all contract-growing farms.
• Develop and implement disease prevention, vaccination, medication, and treatment protocols.
• Conduct regular farm inspections to ensure compliance with biosecurity and animal welfare standards.
• Diagnose diseases and health concerns through observations, assessments, and diagnostic results.
• Analyze disease trends and outbreaks to identify risks and preventive measures.
• Lead disease investigation, containment, and control during outbreaks.
• Manage disease surveillance, sampling, reporting, and regulatory compliance.
• Provide technical guidance and training to production teams and contract growers.
• Monitor use and inventory of veterinary medicines and vaccines.
• Maintain accurate health, treatment, and production records; prepare performance reports.
• Coordinate with laboratories, government agencies, suppliers, and stakeholders on animal health matters.
• Support operational decisions to improve farm productivity, welfare, and profitability.
• Track morbidity and mortality to support disease management and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree holder with a valid PRC Veterinary License.
• At least 2-3 years of experience in commercial swine production, preferably within contract-growing operations.
• Strong knowledge of swine health, disease management, biosecurity, production practices, and ASF prevention.
• Valid driver's license with the ability to operate a four-wheel vehicle.
• Skilled in analyzing, troubleshooting, and resolving technical and operational challenges.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Strong communication, presentation, interpersonal, and report-writing skills.
• Knowledgeable in financial analysis, including ROI, IRR, cost-benefit analysis, and feasibility studies.
• Demonstrated leadership and people management capabilities, including performance supervision and disciplinary management.
• Highly organized with strong time management and multitasking skills.
• Able to build and maintain professional relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
