Job summary

Deutsche Bank Manila is seeking a Market and Valuation Risk Management – Valuations Senior Specialist (AVP) to support 2LOD controls in MCC, ETR, and Tech Vals. You will lead validation of market conformity, review exotic trades, and design Python-based valuation and ML-driven risk solutions.

The role requires strong quantitative skills, experience in financial products, and ability to collaborate with Front Office, 1LOD, and technology teams in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in quantitative field or Finance-related degree.
• Solid knowledge of financial markets products and regulatory env.
• Hands-on programming or data analytics experience preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and in cross-cultural teams.

Responsibilities

• Identify and escalate off-market exceptions to Front Office and 2LOD stakeholders.
• Ensure exotic trades' economic terms align with trade bookings and documents.
• Highlight control gaps with 1LOD stakeholders and drive remediation.
• Develop Python-based valuation and risk solutions; build scalable data pipelines.
• Collaborate with quantitative analysts to translate requirements into technical specs.
• Deliver ML models to detect valuation anomalies and improve data quality.
• Document code and ensure security and maintainability.
