Job summary

Onward Worldwide Management & Consultancy is seeking a highly analytical UX Designer in the Philippines to translate business requirements into intuitive user experiences. You will work with Product Managers, Developers, QA Engineers, and stakeholders to turn complex requirements into developer-ready designs.

The role covers product analysis, UX design, system workflows, technical documentation, and ongoing product collaboration to improve usability, engagement, and efficiency.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree and 2–4 years of UX related experience.
  • Experience designing web, mobile, or enterprise applications.
  • Experience working in Agile or Scrum environments.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze business requirements, PRDs, and user stories.
  • Translate requirements into intuitive user experiences.
  • Identify missing requirements, workflow gaps, and usability issues.
  • Recommend UX improvements before development begins.
  • Design user journeys, flows, wireframes, and prototypes in Figma.
  • Ensure designs align with business objectives and technical feasibility.
  • Understand frontend, backend, API, and database interactions.
  • Prepare and maintain UX documentation and developer handoff artifacts.
  • Collaborate with Product Managers, Developers, and QA teams.
  • Conduct usability testing and UX reviews.
  • Contribute to design system and UX standards.

Job description

A highly analytical and detail-oriented UX Designer who can translate business requirements, user behavior, and system workflows into intuitive, developer-ready user experiences.

The ideal candidate is comfortable working with product requirements, APIs, databases, business rules, and system processes – not just creating attractive interfaces. They should be able to analyze complex workflows, identify usability issues, simplify user interactions, and document complete UX solutions for development and QA teams.

The team values someone who enjoys solving problems through data, understands how systems work behind the interface, and can communicate effectively with Product Managers, Developers, QA Engineers, and Business Stakeholders.

Responsibilities
Product Analysis
  • Analyze business requirements, Product Requirement Documents (PRDs), and user stories.

  • Translate business requirements into intuitive user experiences.

  • Identify missing requirements, workflow gaps, and usability issues.

  • Recommend UX improvements before development begins.

User Experience Design
  • Design user journeys, user flows, task flows, and process flows.

  • Create wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes using Figma.

  • Design responsive experiences for desktop, mobile, and tablet platforms.

  • Ensure designs align with business objectives and technical feasibility.

System & Workflow Analysis
  • Understand frontend, backend, API, and database interactions.

  • Design screen behavior, navigation logic, validation rules, and user interactions.

  • Analyze existing workflows and recommend process improvements.

  • Ensure UX solutions support operational efficiency and scalability.

Technical Documentation

Prepare and maintain:

  • User Journey Maps

  • User Flow Diagrams

  • Process Flow Diagrams

  • Screen Flow Diagrams

  • Information Architecture

  • Functional Wireframes

  • UX Specifications

  • Interaction Specifications

  • Error Handling Documentation

  • Validation Rules

  • Developer Handoff Documentation

Product Collaboration
  • Work closely with Product Managers to refine requirements.

  • Collaborate with Developers to ensure designs are technically feasible.

  • Support QA by clarifying expected system behavior and business logic.

  • Participate in sprint planning, grooming sessions, and design reviews.

UX Validation
  • Review implemented features against approved UX designs.

  • Conduct usability testing and UX reviews.

  • Identify UX issues before production deployment.

  • Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

Continuous Improvement
  • Analyze user feedback and product analytics.

  • Research competitor products and industry best practices.

  • Recommend product enhancements that improve usability, engagement, and efficiency.

  • Contribute to the company's design system and UX standards.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Multimedia Arts, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, Information Technology, Psychology, Business Information Systems, or a related field.

  • 2–4 years of experience in UX Design, Product Design, Business Analysis, or Product Development.

  • Experience designing web, mobile, or enterprise applications.

  • Experience working in Agile or Scrum environments.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in gaming, sportsbook, casino, fintech, SaaS, or enterprise systems.

  • Proficiency in Figma, FigJam, Miro, or similar UX tools.

  • Basic understanding of APIs, databases, and frontend development principles.

  • Experience creating functional specifications and developer-ready UX documentation.

  • Experience working with cross-functional Product, Development, and QA teams.
