Work Setup/Shift: Remote review 6 months

Qualifications:

• Must be residing NCR/Cebu Province
• 2 yrs bedside/Hospital Experience (from 2019 onwards)

Responsibilities:

• Review and analyze patient medical records to ensure that clinical documentation accurately reflects diagnoses, procedures, and treatments.
• Verify that medical documentation supports accurate coding (ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS) and appropriate DRG (Diagnosis-Related Group) assignment.
• Ensure compliance with U.S. healthcare regulations, including CMS and HIPAA.
• Identify gaps in clinical documentation and provide feedback or clarification requests to physicians or healthcare providers.
• Assist in improving documentation accuracy to reflect the complete and accurate clinical picture for optimal coding and reimbursement.
• Work with other clinical and coding teams to improve documentation practices and ensure alignment with payer requirements.
• Collaborate with coding teams to ensure that medical records are coded correctly, based on clinical documentation.
