Remotely Philippines OPC seeks a seasoned US Tax professional to lead compliance for diverse clients, including federal, state, and multi-state filings. You will prepare and review returns, mentor junior staff, and ensure timely IRS filings.
Responsibilities include tax planning, client meetings, and process improvement to standardize workflows. A CPA and 4–6 years of US tax experience are highly valued; night-shift work is required.
Prepare and review federal, state, and local tax returns including: Form 1040, Form 1065, Form 1120, Form 1120S, Form 1041 & Multi-state tax filings
Review work prepared by junior associates.
Ensure tax returns comply with IRS regulations and filing deadlines.
Identify tax-saving opportunities.
Prepare tax projections.
Assist clients with tax planning strategies.
Serve as the primary day-to-day contact for assigned clients.
Conduct tax planning meetings.
Coach and mentor Tax Associates.
Review workpapers and tax returns.
Provide technical training.
Improve tax workflows and review procedures.
Develop standardized tax templates.
Recommend process automation opportunities.
Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
CPA is highly preferred.
Minimum 4–6 years of US tax experience.
Experience reviewing tax returns.
Experience handling multiple client engagements.
Public accounting or outsourced accounting experience preferred.
Strong knowledge of U.S. taxation, including Individual, Partnership, Corporate, S-Corporation, and Trust tax returns, with expertise in multi-state taxation, tax research, tax planning, and IRS compliance.
Experience with leading tax software, including CCH Axcess, UltraTax CS, Lacerte, ProConnect, and Drake Tax, as well as advanced Microsoft Excel functions.
Strong client relationship management.
Must be available to work full-time on a night shift schedule
