Scrubbed is seeking a US Senior Accountant in the Philippines to manage day-to-day accounting for US clients, from transactions to financial statements, using cloud-based tools.

The role requires working directly with US clients, expertise in QuickBooks, Bill.com, Sage, NetSuite, and leadership to mentor junior staff while meeting strict deadlines. Strong English communication and adaptability are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's/College degree in Finance or Accounting (or equivalent).
• At least 3 years of accounting experience, preferably in a BPO setting.
• Experience working directly with US clients is required.
• Hands-on with accounting software like QuickBooks, Bill.com, Sage, NetSuite or similar.
• Able to manage multiple client accounts, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
• Independent work style with minimal supervision; strong analytical skills.
• Strong written and verbal English communication.
• CPA license is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform inventory analysis and monthly payroll runs.
• Prepare month-end journals and closing adjustments.
• Draft monthly financial and management reports.
• Conduct bank and GL reconciliations.
• Participate in client calls and document discussions.

• Review work of entry-level staff and provide guidance.
• Draft process documentation for standard procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Accounts Payable processing

• Inventory analysis
• Monthly Payroll run and accounting
• Completion of month-end journals and closing adjustments
• Preparation and completion of monthly financial reports and management reports
• Bank and GL Reconciliations
• Actively participates during client calls
• Identifies significant risks and is able to analyze and document in a technical memo
• Able to guide and review entry-level staff work
• Drafts process documentation
• Performs other tasks that may be assigned from time to time

Qualifications

• With at least 3 years of experience in the same field, preferably with BPO companies
• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree in Finance/ Accountancy or equivalent
• Experience working directly with US clients is required
