Job summary

EDGE Tutor International is seeking an ELA Teacher to work with US elementary and middle school learners online. Classes are one-on-one, focused on reading, writing, speaking and listening, using guided discovery to foster independence.

This part-time, work-from-home role runs an AM schedule with a guaranteed ₱17,500 monthly salary for 20 hours per week; additional hours are paid at ₱200 per hour. Bachelor’s + TESOL/TEFL and online teaching experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required with original diploma.
• TESOL/TEFL certification (120 hours) required.
• Two years online teaching experience with US students preferred.
• Clear, intelligible spoken English suitable for US learners.

Responsibilities

• Teach English Language Arts to Grades 3–8 US students.
• Use guided discovery, prompting and wait time to foster independent reasoning.
• Maintain notes on student goals, interests and progress.
• Provide weekly one-on-one coaching and feedback based on rubrics.
