Job summary

Caldwell Communications is seeking a skilled Java Developer to build scalable enterprise applications with Java 17+, Spring Boot, and cloud-native architectures. You will contribute to secure APIs, database interactions with PostgreSQL, and AWS/Kubernetes deployments in a hybrid work environment.

You will collaborate with Product, QA, and DevOps teams in an Agile setting, participate in code reviews and CI/CD improvements, and help deliver robust backend services for enterprise customers.

Qualifications

• Experience building enterprise applications with Java 17+.
• Proficient in Spring Boot and Gradle builds.
• Strong API design with RESTful services and database access with PostgreSQL.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise applications using Java 17+, Spring Boot, and Gradle.
• Build and enhance secure RESTful APIs and backend services.
• Develop database-driven apps using PostgreSQL and JPA/Hibernate.
• Deploy and maintain apps in AWS Cloud using Kubernetes (EKS).
• Create automated unit tests with JUnit 5 and Mockito.
