Job summary

TTEC in Bacolod is hiring a Chat Technical Support Representative to provide first-level technical assistance for email hosting and messaging platforms. You will troubleshoot issues and guide customers through solutions, delivering excellent service via chat, email, or other digital channels.

Qualifications

• Completed at least Senior High School with background in IT-related courses.
• Background in technical support or troubleshooting experience is a plus but not required.
• Basic knowledge of email systems, internet troubleshooting, and computer navigation.
• Strong communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-level technical support for email hosting and messaging platforms.
• Troubleshoot basic to moderately complex technical issues and guide customers through solutions.
• Document customer interactions and resolutions in the system; escalate when needed.
• Assist customers with login issues, password resets, account setup, and related concerns.

What You'll Do

Do you enjoy solving technical problems while helping customers? As a Chat Technical Support Representative, you'll provide first-level technical support for email hosting and messaging platforms. You'll troubleshoot technical concerns, guide customers through solutions, and deliver an exceptional customer experience through chat, email, or other digital channels.

During a Typical Day, You'll

• Assist customers with email-related concerns such as login issues, password resets, account setup, and troubleshooting

• Diagnose and resolve basic to moderately complex technical issues involving webmail, email clients, and account configurations

• Guide customers through step-by-step solutions with clear and professional communication

• Document customer interactions and resolutions accurately in the system

• Escalate unresolved or complex technical concerns to the appropriate support teams

What You Bring to the Role

• Completed at least Senior High School with background in IT-related courses.

• Background in technical support or troubleshooting experience but not required, BPO experience is an advantage

• Basic knowledge of email systems, internet troubleshooting, and computer navigation

• Strong communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills
